BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOGS
We have no litters on the way in the next few months.
Please contact us with some info about yourselves if you are interested in being considered for one of our puppies.
Here is our story.
Established in 2009, Windever Kennel is a family run kennel.
We are focused on providing high-quality, healthy, home raised puppies that will make good tempered, sweet natured and beautiful companions.
All of our dogs are our pets and we do this because we love them, every one.
We are very grateful to each of our dogs and to be able to make our living bringing joy to the families we get to meet.
Our dogs do not live in kennels, they are family to us here.
As members of the Canadian Kennel Club as well as the American Kennel Club we abide by their code of ethics and will do everything to ensure that our pups and their new owners have the support they need for the life of the puppy.
All of our pups go home with a lifetime, no question, take-back guarantee.
We never, ever want one of our dogs to need rescuing!
We live on 45 beautiful acres in farm country just outside of Port Rowan and Long Point, where we also keep horses, cats, goats and our egg laying chickens.
It's our little slice of heaven and we really do cherish it.
This is the kennel where the puppies spend their last couple of weeks running around and learning to housetrain outdoors.
No adults live here.
(though Ron occasionally threatens to move in because it's more peaceful than our house is :-)
Our first breed is the incredibly lovable and beautiful Bernese Mountain dog. Starting with 2 females from Sandylane kennels, we have since grown and have now have 7 lovely Bernese. We have 2 handsome and loving CKC reg'd studs. All of the Bernese in our breeding program have OFA certified hips and elbows. And our males are certified clear for DM & VonWillebrand's disease which ensures that none of their puppies can ever inherit these diseases.
We also breed Longhair Mini Dachshunds
We no longer breed wirehairs or smooth hairs.
We do hope
you visit again!
